The light transport ship ‘El Camino Español’ has just returned to Cartagena after providing the necessary logistic support to the two ongoing Spanish missions in the Eastern Mediterranean: the UN-sponsored operation ‘Libre Hidalgo’ in the Lebanon, and the ‘Patriot’ missile battery deployment in Turkey. The ship carried Army materiel and equipment.

The ship departed on April 8th and after a short stop in Valencia, proceeded towards Beirut and Iskenderun (Turkey) with scheduled logistic ports of call in La Valeta (Malta) and Civitavecchia (Italy).
